Psychological counselling

Counselling is a collaborative effort between the counsellor and client. Professional counsellors help clients identify goals and potential solutions to problems which cause emotional turmoil; seek to improve communication and coping skills; strengthen self-esteem; and promote behavior change and optimal mental health.

Besides dealing with the present and the future, it also focuses on the past, helping the individual to overcome barriers and issues from the past and move on.

In the context of mental health, counselling is generally used to denote a relatively brief treatment that is focused primarily on behaviour. Average number of session is 5-7 and one session lasts 1-1,5 hours. It often targets a particular symptom or problematic situation and offers suggestions and advice for dealing with it.

We provide both face-to-face and online counselling. Face-to-face sessions take place in Ülemiste City, Valukoja 8. For online sessions we use either Zoom or Minudoc (minudoc.ee) platform.
